Meet Your Hosts:

Maya Rook is a certified yoga instructor with over 25 years of meditation experience. She is passionate about making meditation and yoga practices accessible to everyone, breaking through misconceptions about mindfulness, and helping people connect with the present moment through breath and movement. Her yoga and meditation classes are also supported by her work as a cultural historian and college educator. Participants have described Maya’s approach as welcoming, vibrant, creative, playful, humorous, delightful, informative, and fun. After attending a session with Maya, you will walk away with new knowledge, a deeper connection to yourself and others, and some fresh perspective in how you view the world around you.

Jessica Coffin is a licensed massage therapist, certified manual lymphatic drainage therapist, and certified yoga instructor. During her first-ever yoga class in 2017, Jessica knew she wanted to get involved in sharing the practice. She graduated her 200hr YTT in 2018 and has been teaching since. In 2020 Jessica began craving a way to deepen her knowledge of the human body and attended the Downeast School of Massage and obtained her massage therapy license. Her primary goal with both her yoga classes and her massage therapy practice is to guide people toward a greater mind-body connection.

Shannon Lora-K. is a Licensed Massage Therapist, holds a B.S. in science and is currently studying to become a doula. She massages under Flora Bodywork at Soft Corner Midwifery in Bath. She offers full-spectrum perinatal care, pediatric massage and specializes in abdominal massage. Shannon cares deeply about honoring natural cycles and rhythms of nature and the human body. She believes that the whole body is connected and is committed to learning about the individual needs of each of her clients. Her goal is to create a supported, welcoming space to help you feel strong, healthy and nourished in your own body. When she’s not massaging, she is farming with her partner at Black Earth Forest Farm!
