Take a trip into 1980s and 90s nostalgia as we explore the babysitter in popular culture! Together we’ll contemplate the portrayal of babysitters in media such as The Baby-Sitter’s Club, Adventures in Babysitting, and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead. In recognition of Women’s History Month, we’ll also consider the historic role of the babysitter and what it tells us about the entrepreneurship of young women.
